Join as a volunteer

We recognise that volunteers make a valuable contribution towards achieving our vision and values by sharing an extended variety of knowledge, skills and experience with our people.

Supporting our students and staff with your time is incredibly rewarding and the difference that you can make will be greatly appreciated by the whole Trust community.

Grandparents' Afternoon was such fun. The children were thrilled to welcome so many visitors!

Volunteering can also provide a healthy boost to your self-confidence, self-esteem, and life satisfaction. Your role as a volunteer can give you a sense of pride and a natural sense of accomplishment as well as an opportunity to gain experience and develop yourself.

I loved working with the children at Hamsey Green Primary School during Science Week. I felt like I was really making a difference.

There are many ways you can get involved:

  • Listen to children reading
  • Help with breakfast or after-school clubs
  • Accompany school trips
  • Work directly with students
  • Support specific curriculum areas
  • Assist with administrative tasks
  • Undertake fundraising activities
  • Assist with sport and social activities
  • Become a Governor or Trustee

Volunteers with Tandridge Learning Trust must complete our safeguarding checks before working in schools with children.
