Trustee - Toby Martlew

Toby Martlew has over ten years of experience in education, having worked in various settings, predominantly in Ealing and Croydon. As a school leader, he has been part of new build, academy conversion, and local-authority-maintained schools. He has held various leadership positions in schools, from small schools in affluent areas to large ones in deprived and challenging contexts.  As part of a large and successful multi-academy trust, Toby has experience in school improvement in both secondary and primary settings.

Alongside his work as a school leader, Toby also acts as a Team Inspector for Ofsted across the South East region and sits on the Learning Development and Finance & Risk committees for Tandridge Learning Trust.

Outside his work in education, Toby is a father of two and a keen sports enthusiast, holding coaching qualifications in rugby and lacrosse and is an enthusiastic member of Old Reigatians Rugby Football Club as well as being an appalling golfer.
