Sima has worked in investment banking for more than 25 years, managing a series of projects in Finance TSY and operations. During this time, Sima has worked for a number of banks and has been at her current one for 18 years. Sima studied law at university before working in banking. During her career, Sima has worked in various divisions, focusing on delivering projects, managing associated budgets and resources, ensuring that key objectives and benefits are met, along with process enhancements and cost reduction. Her key achievements are: successfully migrating operations and finance processes to India and the Philippines, managing the decommission of two IT platforms whilst ensuring migration of functionality which reduced costs for the bank, and and audit remediation of key findings which were improved and closed within three months.

Sima joined the Trust Board in July 2025 as a way to give back within her local community and is a member of the Finance & Operations Committee.
