These include dressing in 1940’s-themed or red, white and blue clothing, and attending special assemblies, including the VE 80 Great Big Live Assembly organised by the Sanctuary Foundation. Food and drink will definitely be a theme with snacks, party food and/or picnics. There will be activities related to the celebrations, such as making a union flag or bunting, participating in 1940-themed quizzes and listening to and dancing to 1940s music! Our Shared Services Team will also be wearing red, white, and blue and will enjoy a traditional British fish and chip lunch.
