Woodlea recognised for its eco-projects
We are delighted to announce that Woodlea Primary School has been awarded the Eco-Schools Green Flag with Distinction. This is the highest Eco-Schools Green Flag award, and it recognises those schools, colleges and nurseries who go beyond the Eco-Schools Seven-Step criteria.
Since 1994, the Eco-Schools Framework has guided and empowered millions of young people to deliver eco-projects that make their schools more sustainable, increase environmental learning, and develop green skills. Schools that do the programme use less energy, cut their carbon, reduce their waste, save money and make their sites greener and healthier places.
